Answer: 1:9

Explanation:

The volume of cylinder is given by :-

V_1=\pi r^2h, where r is radius and h is height of the cylinder.

For cylinder A

radius = 1 m

height =3 m

\text{Volume of cylinder A</p><p>}=\pi 1^23\\\\Rightarrow\ \text{Volume of cylinder A</p><p>}=3\pi

For cylinder B

radius = 3 m

height =3 m

\text{Volume of cylinder B</p><p>}=\pi 3^23\\\\Rightarrow\ \text{Volume of cylinder B</p><p>}=27\pi

Now, the ratio of the volume of cylinder A to the volume of cylinder B is given by :-

\frac{\text{Volume of cylinder A}}{\text{Volume of cylinder B}}=(3\pi)/(27\pi)=(1)/(9)

Hence, the ratio of the volume of cylinder A to the volume of cylinder B is 1:9.
