The ceiling for global warming is 2 degrees Celcius, or about 3.6 Fahrenheit, which is basically a "safe" temperature change. The hottest temperature ever on Earth was in Libya, at 58 Celcius, about 134 Fahrenheit. Recently, west India experienced 51C, about 123F.
Temperatures are lifted by green house gases made by humans and an El Ninothat released heat from the Pacific Ocean.
