PV=nRT, n=(PV)/(RT)
(1.30)(3.46)=(n)(.0821)(274.27)
n=.199755 moles

Answer : The number of moles of gas present in container are, 0.1997 mole

Explanation :

Using ideal gas equation :

PV=nRT

where,

n = number of moles of gas = ?

P = pressure of the gas = 1.30 atm

T = temperature of the gas = 274.27 K

R = gas constant = 0.0821 Latm/moleK

V = volume of gas = 3.46 L

Now put all the given values in the above equation, we get the moles of gas.

(1.30atm)* (3.46L)=n* (0.0821L.atm/mole.K)* (274.27K)

n=0.1997mole

Therefore, the number of moles of gas present in container are, 0.1997 mole
