During the term of President W. Bush, a lot of domestic policies were implemented. President Bush signed and implemented the law about Genetic Non-Discrimination. This law is called as the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act or (GINA). This law is prohibiting health insurance to deny coverage to persons with good health condition or letting the person pay high premiums on health insurances because of their genetics that they will acquire a disease in the future. President Bush also signed a law regarding protection of the environment called the Great Lakes Legacy Act of 2002. In the field of Education, President Bush also signed the No Child Left Behind Act which gives more funds to schools. These domestic policies had a great impact to Americans and a big help to them.
