There are total 6×6=36 possible chances
We also know that the dice has number 1 to 6 on it, so we need to find that the sum is 5 or lower, here we go:
1+1=2
1+2=3
1+3=4
1+4=5
2+1=3
2+2=4
2+3=5
3+1=4
3+2=5
4+1=5, so there are total 10 number star gas the same of 5 or lower
P(Rollin the sum of 5 or lower):
10/36
Simply thus to get:5/18. As a result, the probability that the sum is 5 or lower is 5/18. Hope it help!
