you have 2 boys for every 3 girls
here is a "chart" G= girl B= boy

BB GGG
BB GGG
BB GGG
BB GGG
BB GGG
BB GGG
So now we have a total of 30 people. Count up the girls, count up the boys.
28 girls
-12 boys
equals 16 more girls than boys
