hello :
y²-2y=-9/2
(y²-2y +1) -1 = -9/2
(y-1)² = -7/2
in : R no solutions
in : C two solutions
y-1 =-(7/2)i or y-1 = (√7/2)i
y = 1 -(
√7/2)i or y = 1+(√7/2) i because : -7/2 =(7/2)i²... i² = -1
