Since the total number of people in the survey is 504

Since 52.3% of them support the levy

Then to find the number of people who support the levy, multiply 52.3% by 504

At first, change the percentage number to a usual number by dividing it by 100


(52.3)/(100)=0.523

Now, do the multiplication


0.523*504=263.592

Then 263.592 support the levy
