V=1×7/2
V=7/2 cubic inches

side^3, or side×side×side
V=1/2×1/2×1/2
V=1/8 cubic inches

To find how many cubes with the side of 1/2 length that fir into the rectangular prism, take:
7/2÷1/8
=7/2×8
=28 cubes. As a result, there are 28 cubes that will fit into the prism
