The number of moles of solte particles in the solution is 0.50 mol of glucose. This is because the the quantity of water used to dissolve the glucose does not contribute to the number of moles in the glucose sample. Water is just the solvent which was used to dissolve the glucose. The number mole of solute particle in the water remain o.50 mol of glucose.
