Answer:

Square root of 5 < 5 over 2 < 2.71 repeating 71 < 2 and 3 over 4

Explanation:

Numbers are the mathematical objects which are used to count and measure.

Given Numbers : 2.717171...

2 and 3 over 4 =
2+(3)/(4)=(11)/(4)=2.75

Square root of 5 = 2.24

5 over 2 =
(5)/(2)=2.5

We need to order the set of numbers from least to greatest .

Among numbers 2.717171... and 2.75 , digits at ones and tenths place are same , so will compare digits at hundredth place . 1 < 5

So, 2.717171... < 2.75 .Also, digit at tenths place of 2.24 is less than digit at tenth place of 2.5, so , 2.24 < 2.5

Here,
2.24< 2.5< 2.717171...< 2.75

So, square root of 5 < 5 over 2 < 2.71 repeating 71 < 2 and 3 over 4 .
