f(5)=(5)^2+4(5)
f(5)=25+20=45
g(6)=2(6)+2
g(6)=12+2=14
45+14=59

Answer:

The answer is 59

Explanation:

In order to determine
F(5)+G(6) , first we have to determine
F(5) and
G(6) separately.

For
F(x)=x^2+4*x, we replace the variable "x" by 5:

x=5\\F(5)=(5)^2+4*(5)=25+20=45

For
G(x)=2*x+2, we replace the varibale "x" by 6:

x=6\\G(6)=2*(6)+2=12+2=14

The previous procedure is called "evaluating function".

Finally,

F(5)+G(6)\\45+14\\59
