first you want to clear the parenthesis so 16/4+56-6. next you want to do the division. 4+56-6. next solve the equation left to right. so 60-6 and the final answer is 54.

First do the problem in the (),
(3+4=7-1=6)
Now, go on do dividing / multiplying
16/4=4
Then add / subtract
(new equation)
4 + 56 - 6
60 - 6 = 54
Your answer SHOULD be 54
hope this helps
