Given,

The expression is

3\mleft(2x-1\mright)=45

Simplifying the expression using the BODMAS rule, first open the small bracket.

6x-3=45

Adding 3 to both sides then,

\begin{gathered} 6x-3+3=45+3 \\ 6x=48 \end{gathered}

Dividing both sides by 6 then,

\begin{gathered} (6x)/(6)=(48)/(6) \\ x=8 \end{gathered}

Hence, the value of x is 8.
