the answer:
the complement of the question may be
Quadratic formula: x = -b +or- sqrt( b²-4ac) / 2a

the given equation is 0 = – 3x2 – 2x + 6
generally, it is written as ax² +bx + c = 0
so by doing coefficients identification method,
we found that a = -3, b= -2 and c= 6

so x =
-b + sqrt( b²-4ac) / 2a = 2 + sqrt(4 - 4*(-3)6) / -6 = - 9 or x = 10.6
