Let's find the factors of 32 and 72:

32=2*4*4 72=6*6*2
Therefore both of the radicals can be simplified into
16 √(2) and
12 √(2). Now adding them we get
28 √(2)

4√32+2√72

4√(2*2*2*2*2)+2√(2*2*2*3*3)

4√(16*2)+2√(4*9*2) moving out all of the perfect squares...

4*4√2+2*2*3√2

16√2+12√2

(16+12)√2

28√2
