Ahmed has five more CDs than one-half the number of CDs Julia has. In this situation, what does 1/2c+ 5 represent?

the number of CDs Ahmed has
the number of CDs Julia has
the number of CDs Ahmed has more than Julia
the number of CDs Ahmed and Julia have altogether

5 more than 1/2 of Julia's CDs
we don't know how many CD's Julia has
That means Julia's CDs would be the variable, which cancels out the possibility of the second answer. It can't be them together because you don't add julia's to ahmed's.
It would be how many Ahmed has because that is 5 + 1/2c (Julias)

Answer: The number of CDs Ahmed has

Explanation:

Given statement : Ahmed has five more CDs than one-half the number of CDs Julia has.

If 'c' represents the number of CD's that Julia has.

Then , according to the given statement , the expression to find the number of CD's Ahmed has given by :-

(1)/(2)c+5

Hence, the expression
(1)/(2)c+5 represents the the number of CDs Ahmed has.
