so to figure out the next number in the sequence you multply the previous number by 5
the first 7 terms are
3, 15, 75, 375, 1875, 9375, and 46875
then ad those all up and you get 58,593

Answer:

7th term is 46,875

Explanation:

The given geometric sequence is 3, 15, 75.....

Here the first term a1 = 3, common ratio (r) = 15/3 = 5

The nth term an = a1.r^(n-1)

To find the 7th term, plug in n = 7.

a7 = 3. (5)^(7 -1)

a7 = 3.5^6

a7 = 3*15625

a7 = 46,875

Hope this will helpful.

Thank you.
