This is true.

Anyone can be affected by an act of violence, the physical victim/s, bystanders, friends, family, a community, a nation, anyone. This is because violence is an emotional as well as a physical act and as human beings we can feel empathy and sympathy which means that a broad spectrum of people can essentially become additional victims.
