If f(x)=3(x+5)+4?x what is f(a+2)

If that was f(x)=3(x+5)+4 you have:

f(a+2)=3(a+2+5)+4

f(a+2)=3(a+7)+4

f(a+2)=3a+21+4

f(a+2)=3a+25

Not really sure what "f(x)=3(x+5)+4?x" means...

f(a+2)=4a+23, all you have to do is plug in a+2 into x and once you have done that make sure to distribute both quantities.
