Answer: Experimentation with federal programs

President Franklin D. Roosevelt implemented a series of programs, public works projects, financial reforms and regulations during the 1930s. These were collectively known as the New Deal. As a way to provide much needed relief and recovery from the Great Depression, President Roosevelt implemented these strategies from 1933 to 1936. These contributed to stabilizing the conomy and provided jobs to those that were most affected.
