How can activities such as yoga and meditation serve as alternatives to drug use

I don't know if this is 100% correct, but activities such as yoga and meditation allow your mind to flow freely which can reduce stress and sometimes help with pain whether physical or emotional. Using drugs is a quick solution to a temporary problem that can increase the amount of problems you have. Yoga and meditation are healthy alternatives that you can do anywhere anytime and still be able to function at your fullest capacity.
