In just about eighteen months, gas prices in America almost doubled.
In 2003, oil price was over $30 per barrel. In August 2005 it would cost $60, dramatically soaring to $147.30 in July 2008. These prices are considered a really serious and important part of the 2000's energy crisis which was related to the Middle East tension, China demand increase, the falling of the U.S. dollar value as well as issues with the world supply.
