You select a card at random from the cards that make up the word " replacement ". Without replacing the card, you choose a second card. Find the probability of choosing a constant and then an "e". There is 1 letter for each card.

I guess you mean consonant.
P(choosing a consonant) = 7/11 ( because there are 7 consonants in the 11 letters in 'replacement')
After the first pick there are 3 e's in the 10 letters, so

P( picking an e) = 3/10

These 2 events are independent so the probabilities are multiplied)

P( consonant then an e) = 7/11 * 3/10 = 21/110
