The correct answer is D. They are both vascular plants, but conifers are gymnosperms, and anthophytes are angiosperms

Anthophytes are the angiosperms or flowering plants which is the largest phylum of plants whereas, conifers such as Pines, Fir are the members of gymnosperms. Both are vascular plants, reproduce sexually to produce seeds but in conifers seed are not enclosed in fruits, thus seeds are naked in them. Anthophytes seeds are enclosed in fruits.
