Most crankshaft bearing sets include a thrust bearing, which sets the amount of endplay. The thrust bearing can be a separate ring of bronze alloy bearing material, usually split so that it fits into a machined recess. It faces the rear of the engine, to take up the pressure from the clutch as it is depressed.i would be THRUST
