Jeanine bought a new pair of hiking boots on sale for 25% off the regular price.

If the regular price was $115, how much did Jeanine pay for the hiking boots?

First, we have to divide the regular price by 100.

115/100=1.15
Multiply that by 25.

1.15*25=28.75
Subtract the answer from the regular price.

115-28.75=86.25
Jeanine paid $86.25 for the hiking boots.

Have a nice day! :)
