A tree that is 100 feet tall casts a shadow that is 150 feet long. Determine the angle at which the rays of the sun hit the ground, to the nearest degree.

First, you will need to make a diagram of the triangle and fill in all of the dimensions. Afterward, you will need to figure out if you need to use sin, cos, or tan. After figuring out you use tangent in this situation, you will need to use the formula
tan^((-1)) (100)/(150). After using that formula, you will find the degree (x) which is approximately 33.69°.
