25 feet each.  All you have to do is divide the perimeter by how many sides.

Answer:

25 feet.

Explanation:

Given : The perimeter of a square is 100 feet .

The area is 625 square feet .

To Find: What is the length of each side?

Solution:

Let the side of square be x

Formula of perimeter of square =
4 * side

Perimeter of square =
4 * x

The perimeter of a square is 100 feet .

So,
100=4 * x

(100)/(4)=x

25=x

Area of square =
Side^2

=
(25)^2

=
625 ft^2

The calculated area is same as the given area.

Hence the side of the square sis 25 feet.
