Who is one pioneer in autopsy? what did this person contribute to the practice of autopsies?

Autopsy is a surgical procedure done to determine the cause of death (forensic autopsy) or to evaluate diseases or injury (clinIcal/academic autopsy. Ancient Egyptians were one of the first civilizations to practice autopsy. Galen of Pergamon was one of the first autopsists. He was a prominent Greek physician, surgeon and philosopher in the Roman Empire and with his work influenced the development the scientific discipline - autopsy.

One pioneer in autopsy would be detective smart. He had a lot of experience and that is why whatever he did was precise as well as accurate. What he did was not testing, rather everythng was based upon his prior experinece, that he had obtained.
