According to the dot plot there are 18 time trials. Each dot represents a time trial.The number it's on top of is how long in seconds that time trial was. So you just count all the dots to get how much time trials were recorded.

18 time trials were conducted during the experiment. I got this by adding all the dots together. And the answer for the second one is D or the last answer.
