The volume of a gas increases from 18.7 m3 to 25.1 m3 while the pressure changes from 1.82 atm to 1.41 atm. If the initial temperature is 353 K, the final temperature of the gas is K.

So the final temperature is T₂=367 K.

The combined gas law says: (P₁*V₁)/T₁=(P₂*V₂)/T₂ where P is the pressure in Pascals, V is the volume in m³ and T is the temperature in degrees Kelvin.

P₁=1.82 atm= 184411.5 Pa
P₂= 1.41 atm =142868.3 Pa
V₁=18.7 m³
V₂=25.1 m³
T₁=353 K
T₂=?

Lets solve the combined gas equation for T₂:

T₂*(P₁*V₁)/T₁=(P₂*V₂),

T₂*(P₁*V₁)=(P₂*V₂)*T₁

T₂={(P₂*V₂)*T₁}/(P₁*V₁)=367.07 K=367 K

So the final temperature is T₂=367 K.
