A garden has the shape of isosceles right triangle the length of the hypotenuse is 24 feet what is the area of the garden?

Let one side of the triangle be x,
Now, using Pythagoras Theorem,
x²+ x²= 24²
X= 12√2
Finally, using the area of triangle formula- 1/2 x 12√2 x 12√2= 144 feet
