Battle of Gallipoli also referred to as The Gallipoli Campaign of 1915-16, was an unfortunate trial by the Allied Powers to command the sea journey from Europe to Europe at the time of World War I. The Gallipoli campaign was an expensive breakdown for the Allies, with an expected 27,000 Anglo-Norman, and 115,000 British which was murdered or wounded. Over half these fatalities (73,485) were British and Irish bands.
