number of mole = mass / Mr

Mr of MgCl2 =( 24.3+ (35.5*2)) = 95.3

mole = 8.90

then mass = (8.90 * 95.3)

= 848.17 g (if there is no numerical calculation)

Step-by-step explanation:

As we known that number of moles is equal to mass of a substance divided by its molar mass.

It is given that moles of magnesium chloride is 8.90 mol and its molar mass is 95.211 g/mol.

Therefore, calculate its mass as follows.

No. of moles =
\frac{mass}{\text{molar mass}}

8.90 mol =
(mass)/(95.211 g/mol)

mass = 847.37 g

Thus, we can conclude that mass of given magnesium chloride is 847.37 g.
