y=3-2x

a. 7=3-2(-4), 7=3+8, 7!=11

b. 5=3-2(-1), 5=3+2, 5=5

c. -9=3-2(6), -9=3-12, -9=-9

So a. is not an ordered pair of 2x+y=3
