In the final paragraph, the narrator says, "I don’t think I’ll need my parents to translate for me." Why does she most likely mention this?

A. She wants her parents to keep translating because she is lazy.
B. Previously, she has needed her parents' translation help.
C. She already speaks and reads Chinese without any problems.
D. Her family will need to hire an interpreter for her.

I'm guessing it would be C. She already speaks and reads Chinese without any problems.

Without the full passage it is hard to come up with a full proof anwser but, by looking at the statement I would say it was C. I think this because it sounds like this is not the first time she needs something translated.
