Speed is not a vector so horizontal speed does not sighify anything. If u meant velocity it vill be same as the initial velocity in horizontal direction

Answer: Horizontal speed=5m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed= distance / time

Speed of object = 5m/s

Distance = 5m/s/1second= 5m

Speed = 5m× 1sec=5m/s

Horizontal speed after 1 second is 5m/s
