Which unit rate is the lowest price per ounce? Choice A: 25 ounces of potato chips for $3.49 Choice B: 40 ounces of potato chips for $4.79

To answer this we need to divide the ounces by the cost for each choice.

A.
25/3.49 = 7.16

B.
40/4.79 = 8.35

Since 7.16 is less than 8.35, the answer is A.
