Assuming your ratio of 5:2:3 is in cups, Jane should have a ratio of 10:4:6

Hope this helps.

Answer:

20cups

Explanation:

If Jane’s favorite fruit punch consists of pear, pineapple, and plum juices and are divided in the ratio 5:2:3, the total mixture will be addition of all the ratio which gives;

5+2+3 = 10

If she had only 6cups of plum juice, the total cups of juice made can be calculated as shown;

3/10 × x = 6 where x is the total cup of juices she made.

Note that the ratio of the plum juice was divided by the total in the calculation since that's the only data given.

From the equation above;

3/10 × x = 6

3x/10 = 6

cross multiplying

3x = 60

x = 60/3

x = 20

Therefore the total punch made by her was 20cups
