now, notice, the prism is "square-based", so, its base is a square, if the length is 10 cm, so the width is also 10cm, a square has all equal sides
thus, check the picture below
solve for "h"

V = B*h
Where B is the area of the base.
1000 = 10 * 10 * h
1000 = 100 * h
Divide both sides by 100
h = 10 cm
