we have 3x+50=6x-10 subtracting 3x from both sides we get 50=3x-10. Now we add 10 to both sides to get 60=3x. Dividing both sides by 3 we get x=20.

Answer:

The value of x is
20

Explanation:

In this problem we have that

(3x+50)=(6x-10) ----> given problem

solve for x

Group terms that contain the same variable and move the constant to the other side

6x-3x=50+10

combine like terms

3x=60

Divide by
3 both sides

3x/3=60/3

x=20
