x-intercept is the point where the graph cuts x axis
when a graph cuts x axis, y=0
when y=0, x-3(0)=3 i.e. x=3
so x intercept=3
y-intercept is the point where the graph cuts y axis
when a graph cuts y axis, x=0
when x=0, 0-3y=3 i.e. y=-1
so y intercept=-1
