In right triangle ABC, where c is the hypotenuse, a = 6, c = 10, and b = x -2. Solve for x. A) 6 B) 8 C) 10 D) 12 is the answer B?

the answer is C right triangles have a formula for this its a^2 + b^2 = c^2 so 10^2 is 100 - 6^2 or 36 is 64 and because 8*8 is 64 its the correct answer.
