Express each of these sums in the form a(b + c) where b and c do not have a common factor. Show all work.

1. 6 + 21








2. 27 + 45








3. 32 + 48

Ok the idea here is to pull out something common to both of those numbers, but what's left inside the parenthesis cannot share anything common. So here's the first one: pull out a 3 and what is left inside the parenthesis is (2+7); #2. 9(3+5); #3. 16(2+3); #4. 8(11+3); #5. 15(2+5)
