The vertex is (-1.5, -6.75). So the x-coordinate is -1.5. Hope this helps and if so please leave a good rating and thanks. I really appreciate it. Have a nice day!

Answer:

-1.5

Explanation:

We have been given an equation
y=3x^2+9x. We are asked to find the x-coordinate of the vertex of the parabola for our given equation.

We will use formula
(-b)/(2a) to finc the x-coordinate of vertex of given parabola.

Upon substituting our given values in above formula we will get,

(-9)/(2*3)

(-3*3)/(2*3)

(-3)/(2)

-1.5

Therefore, the x-coordinate of vertex of given parabola is
-1.5.
