The mass of a large adult male hippo is about 1,850,000 grams and the mass of a large adult female is about 1,525,000 grams. What is the difference, in kilograms, between the masses of the adult male and female hippos

Explanation:

Mass of the large adult male hippo is about 1850000 grams.

Since 1000 grams = 1 Kilograms

So weight of the large adult male hippo will be =
(1850000)/(1000) = 1850 Kg

Similarly mass of adult female hippo = 1525000 grams

mass in Kilograms =
(1525000)/(1000)=1525 Kg

Now difference in their masses = 1850 - 1525 = 325 Kg

Therefore, difference between the masses of male and female hippos is 325 Kg.
