- A power to the power is the same as multiplying the powers.
- A number to a power times a number to a power is the same as adding the powers if the numbers are the same.

So the equation really is


2^(14) ... 2^(12)

Now you can see that the left hand side is larger than the right hand side.

So B is the correct answer.
