The answer is D. 560,423 - 214,974 = 345,448 that is the total of the bowls last year. The passage states that this year pet care gave 560,423 bowls to animals shelters, so you add the two together and you would get, 905,871! Hope this helps!!!

If it's the total ( including previous year ), then it's D. Subtract 214,975 from 560,423, then sum up the difference with the bowls of food for this year ( subtract the 1st answer, then do 345,448 + 560,423 ).
