A new effective law in January 2015 requires that children aged 4 and 5 travel in a booster seat.

Children up to the age of three must be secured in a separate carrier (child safety seat) or in an integrated child safety seat. For children aged 4 to 5 years, a separate carrier, an integrated child safety seat or a seat belt may be used.
